The Rocket Launcher is another fine addition to the Thunder Line. Similar to the famed Hy-Road, the Rocket Launcher is sure to help you create easy skid through the heads and more hook on the backends. And backend hook leads to more entry angle, a critical factor to creating more power at the pins. And while proven technology is featured on the R3S pearl shell, the Rocket Launcher’s Booster Core is both innovative and dynamic in design. It is true this ball rivals the performance of others’ premium options.

R3S is the third generation of Storm’s flagship coverstock: Reactor cover material. This shell has a measurable porosity that is higher than its predecessor. This increased porosity reads the lane slightly sooner than Reactor or R2S and smooths out the overall reaction. Blending out lane transition is one of R3S’s best features.

Booster Core

Equipped with a mid-range RG and moderate differential value, the Booster Core offers excellent value for a mid-line ball. Because of its long and continuous motion, the Booster Core has been sought after by bowlers of all styles. Should this amount of hook be available at this price? We think so.
