The Sword/U however differs greatly from its reactive counterpart. With a solid, sanded finish and a one-color solid urethane shell called Controll, the Sword/U will hook much sooner and offer more backend control than the Sword. Don’t forget, though, that the core is important too. It’s the interior shape that determines the roll pattern due to its migration path, and the Centripetal core’s strong symmetrical shape is not to be taken lightly. One of the most dynamic shapes ever conceived, the Centripetal core will generate plenty of flare potential to keep this ball reading the midlane, producing a more consistent reaction.

Controll Urethane is the perfect choice when battling the oil-less environment. When there is too much friction on the lane, urethane has become the gold standard for ultimate control. Whether it is a short pattern or wood lanes, every serious bowler needs to have a urethane in their bag for when that moment arrives.

Storm Centripetal Core

Custom-engineered for the player who desires low, stable spin with forgiveness, the Centripetal Core features a center of gravity that is extremely low. The innovative cascading channels engage the circumference of the weight block and maximize mid-lane control with a smoother change of direction downlane.
