The El Nino 2000 features the Storm Accu-Tread coverstock material with TDR particles along with a DOUBLE LOAD of Mica added to the formula for an all new PRO-Thane Pearl. The new PRO-Thane Pearl coverstock is cleaner through the heads than the original PRO-Thane, gives a good mid-lane read for less over-under and produces exceptional energy on the back end of the lane for devastating pin action. Matched to this new PRO-Thane Pearl cover is an all new Motion Control weight block with Vertical Dual Density for built in mass bias. This Motion Control weight block constitutes medium rg (2.53) with sound differential (.060) for impressive track flare potential assuring strong recovery and outstanding back end reaction.

This fast-revving shape, the aptly named, supercharged Velocity core smooths out the backend reaction without over-reacting and avoids creating an undesirable last-second movement. The nature of the core gives it plenty of motion due to the higher differential, but with the forgiveness all players love to see.
